The SEA SHACK
The NEW Sea Shack just finished its first year and it has been just as delicious for the 9000 visitors, as it has been for the festive team. The summer season is approaching and yes the hostel is now open all year long! Come see our new site, cabins, cottages, the sanitary palace … the new SEA SHACKl!
The Hostel offers its visitors two floors of common area where you can cook in the shared kitchen, enjoy a good meal with your friends, and relax in the chilling room. This SHACK is the central point of the entire site and it’s the place where everything can happen…

Adopted Gaspesian, we opened the hostel in 2004, when we realized that, if during our parties we asked every friend to pay for a bed, maybe it could pay us a salary. In this way, the concept of Auberge Festive (Sea Shack) was born, because it’s a place where party and friendship are part of the rules. But why “Sea Shack”? That name came by itself, long before the opening of the hostel, when somebody said: “Here we are not at the LOVE Shack, it’s the SEA Shack!.”
Thanks to all the Kurds, friends of Sea Shack and all the visitors that came during all those seven crazy years of party! And the party still goes on in this wonderful piece of land, beside the sea, where happiness and smiles makes it better and better. It’s always a pleasure to have you, Québécois from any age and style, your French cousins, Europeans and Aussie mates. Thanks to our partnership with the Youth Hostel Organization (HI), operating in over 80 countries, which enabled us in summer 2010 to achieve our greatest dream: to host Travelers Kurdistan ! Welcome everybody.

CAFÉ BISTRO "LE RORQUAL VERT"
The Bistro will be open full time from June 18th 2011 to mid October. The breakfast is served between 8:00 and 11:00 and dinner is served between 6:00 to 9:00 pm.. Our corner store will also help you to hit the spot.
At all times, we offer the opportunity to organize group dinners.
On the menu:

- Absolutely try "le Tabarsnack" (grilled nachos)

Living room "LE BATEAU"
In summer and winter the traveller's lounge, a specially equipped boat, can hold indoor festive evenings when cold weather arrives! With its football table and cozy wood stove, this room provides a meeting place for travelers. Whether it’s to celebrate or just relax on the couch, this boat rocks. It is also here that we broadcast the famous Canadian's hockey games.

The sanitary palace CHIN-TAS (Toilet block)
Built as a Chinese temple with its special roof, this building offers to all visitors several toilets, showers, sinks and natural perfume.
